Stanford Good Ole Days Parade
The Stanford Parade is on Saturday, July 16. If you are riding the bus, we will load the trailer at 12:45 and leave at 1:00. If you are meeting us in Stanford, we will meet at the intersection of School and Armstrong at 1:15. The parade starts at 2:00 and we should finish around the old grade school at 2:30. Students who rode the bus to the parade but are not riding back to school should be signed out by a parent/guardian by 2:45. We should return to Olympia by 3:00. Students are expected to help unload the trailer and put everything away before leaving.
Band Camp Information
Band Camp is next week! There is a lot of information to go over with everyone. Instead of putting it all here, we have created a Google Drive Folder. You can find a Band Camp Introduction Letter, schedule for both weeks, the procedures for dinner, and a flyer for our Friends and Family Potluck/Preview. The folder can be accessed by clicking here. Please be sure to read through everything!

“Romeo and Juliet”
A good portion of band students are involved with an abridged version of Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”. This will be performed on Wednesday, July 13 at 6:00 PM on the lawn of Ewing Manor in Normal. The performance is free. The Illinois Shakespeare Festival will perform “Peter and the Starcatcher” at 7:30 PM. Tickets for this performance are available at the ISF website: Illinoisshakes.com. Tickets will be discounted for friends and family of the Olympia School District.
