Hello everyone,
Here are your announcements for this week. We hope you have a safe and happy 4th of July!
Hopedale 4th of July Parade
Congratulations on a successful first performance of the season! The weather cooperated with us and the first performance officially in the books. We will continue to condition and work to improve for every performance. Throughout the season, if you take any pictures of the group’s performances, please feel free to share them with us!
Rehearsal This Week
On Tuesday, we will be sight-reading the music for the marching band show. You can find electronic copies of the music clicking here. If you are unable to print music at home, please contact Mr. B by 3:30 PM on Tuesday.
Binders
Students should bring a three ring binder (at least 1 inch) to rehearsal on Thursday, July 7. We will be handing out the drill for the show, learning how to read drill, and putting the first set of the show on the field. Some students prefer to have plastic inserts to help protect their drill in case of bad weather. Also, students are encouraged to bring some form of string/yarn that they can attach to their binder so they can wear it while on the field.

Stanford Good Ole Days Parade
The Stanford Parade is on Saturday, July 16. If you are riding the bus, we will load the trailer at 12:45 and leave at 1:00. If you are meeting us in Stanford, we will meet at the intersection of School and Armstrong at 1:15. The parade starts at 2:00 and we should finish around the old grade school at 2:30. Students who rode the bus to the parade but are not riding back to school should be signed out by a parent/guardian by 2:45. We should return to Olympia by 3:00. Students are expected to help unload the trailer and put everything away before leaving.
Band Camp Information
Band Camp is just around the corner. There is a lot of information to go over with everyone. Instead of putting it all here, we have created a Google Drive Folder. You can find a Band Camp Introduction Letter, schedule for both weeks, the procedures for dinner, and a flyer for our Friends and Family Potluck/Preview. The folder can be accessed by clicking here.
Parent Help
We need parent help! Find out how you can help by clicking here. Each job listed that you can click on as a link will take you to a sign up for that job.
