OHS Band Weekly Updates 11/2/15

Hello everyone,

Here are the announcements for this week.

Band Banquet

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the end of the marching band season banquet last week. We have a maroon/burgundy casserole dish cover and a black spoon leftover. If you are missing either, please contact me ASAP.

Madrigal Costume Fittings

Madrigal costume fittings are this week. See Mrs. A-M to sign up for a time to be fitted!

Holiday Concert Venue Change

Unfortunately, we will have to make a change of venue for our Holiday Concert. The event is being moved to the OHS Auditorium on Monday, December 14 at 7:00 PM. We understand that some of you were looking forward to our concert in the community, but circumstances have necessitated that we move the concert to the school. We still hope you invite people who normally wouldn’t attend our concerts to attend this one at the school.

Fall Calendar

Looking at the calendar, we have a lot of events rapidly approaching. Be sure to plan ahead. Once we get into December, it will become a little hectic.

Wednesday, November 11 – Veterans Day Assembly – OHS Gym Monday, November 23 – Madrigals Rehearsal (all madrigal instrumentalists required to attend) – Chorus Room 3:30-5:30

Monday, November 30 – Madrigals Rehearsal (all madrigal instrumentalists required to attend) – Auditorium 3:30-5:30

Tuesday, December 1 – Madrigals Rehearsal (all madrigal instrumentalists required to attend) – Auditorium 3:30-5:30

Wednesday, December 2 – Madrigal Schlepping Day – 3:30-5:30

Thursday, December 3 – Madrigal Dress Rehearsal – OHS Gym 3:30-9:00

Friday, December 4 – Madrigals Performance – OHS Gym

Saturday, December 5 – Minier Christmas Parade – 1:00 PM @ OHS, 1:30 PM @Minier

Saturday, December 5 – Madrigals Performance/Tear Down – OHS Gym

Tuesday, December 8 – Home Basketball Game – OHS Gym

Friday, December 11 – Home Basketball Game – OHS Gym

Monday, December 14 – Holiday Concert – OHS Auditorium 7:00
