OHS Band Weekly Updates 9/7/15

Hello everyone,

Here are the announcements for this week. Sorry they’re late.

Nice Job

Congratulations on two nice performances this past weekend both at the Tailgate and Labor Day Parade in Delavan. Keep up the good work.

Washington Itinerary

You can find the itinerary for Washington plus much more information by clicking here. A few important things to note: 1. Students should have TALL black socks (not socks that cut off at the ankle) for their uniforms. 2. Students should wear a plan color t-shirt (without writing) underneath their uniform. 3. Students should wear basketball shorts underneath their uniform.

Morton Itinerary

The itinerary for Morton can be found by clicking here. A quick note about this competition: The last time we attended, I-155 traffic and Pumpkin Festival traffic caused some parents and families to miss our performance. It is strongly recommended by the contest hosts for us to enter the town of Morton on Co Rd 2000 N (US 150) which eventually turns into Jackson St in town. This will be the quickest way in and out of the town that weekend.

Fundraiser

We’ve kicked off our fall fundraiser last week. Continue to sell, sell, sell. Orders are due with money on Tuesday, September 15.
